Is Trump really a foreign policy populist?

There is no definitive evidence to show that President Trump is sticking unwaveringly to the populist foreign policy approaches advocated on his campaign. What is evident, however, is that the rise of anti-globalist sentiment is a phenomenon taking place across the Western world, one that far transcends the ascendancy and rhetoric of Trump.
