Liberty and authority: toward a Catholic conservatism

Catholics need to engage thoughtfully in Church teaching as they explore the realm of policy and politics. The Church though, does not seek sole authority in political affairs and in her wisdom deems it fit to delegate authority to other institutions. For guidance, our best option would be to seek the wisdom of our conservative forebears.
