Cruz Dares Senate Dems to Stand for Religious Liberty

Every Democrat in the Senate has an opportunity to stand for religious liberty this week in a vote to confirm a nominee for a federal appeals court, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, says.

Cruz is referring to Notre Dame professor Amy Coney Barrett, President Trump’s pick for the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, who has faced sharp questioning from Democrats for her Catholic faith.
