Air Force Captain suspended for not endorsing same-sex marriage

By Kathryn Blackhurst ● PoliZette ● 11/22/2017

Col. Leland Bohannon, a devout Christian who served in the Air Force for 20 years, was suspended in May after declining to sign a “certificate of spouse appreciation” and affirm the same-sex marriage of a retiring master sergeant. The American family Association, with the support of eight US Senators, has launched a petition urging Air Force Secretary Heather Wilson to reinstate Bohannon.
